MELBOURNE – Performance, Impact & Diversity Series – “Talking about your Generation” with our CFO Panel
Monday, 25th November @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pmFree – $145.00
** FEI INVITES YOU TO BRING YOUR HUMAN RESOURCES COLLEAGUE TO THIS EVENT FOR FREE **
For the first time in history, we now have 5 generations overlapping in Australian workplaces. This will challenge management assumptions about career paths, team development, institutional knowledge and motivation – to name just a few factors. Did you know that, while Baby Boomers and Gen Xers regard stimulating work and empowerment as the hallmarks of a great employer, for Millennials this is a basic expectation from all workplaces? And, despite Millennials being a generation raised with collaborative study and social tribes, surveys show that it is Boomers who find being part of a winning team and enjoyable collaboration as most important at work.
So, what does this all mean in the world of the CFO? Come along as we ask three leading business executives and CFOs – Peter Day (NED and former CFO, Amcor), Tania Archibald (CFO, BlueScope Steel) and Jevan Bouzo (CFO, Viva Energy) – their opinion. Our panel will share their experiences of becoming a CFO across the generations, how things are changing, what the future holds and, the importance and the challenge of effectively managing inclusive teams. Our discussion will be moderated by Stephen Hickey, a Partner at Spencer Stuart company, Kincentric (formerly Aon Hewitt), who will incorporate findings from Aon Hewitt’s Workforce Mindset Study.
This is your opportunity to take part in an interesting discussion about the role and requirements of a CFO and today’s finance function, against a backdrop of the social change that is the aging workforce and technology disruption. An insightful event that will help you reflect on your career choices, consider your own work mindset and learn how to lead inclusively in a rapidly changing workplace.
