Our FEI Events Program and the COVID-19 Virus
Monday, 16th March - Tuesday, 12th May
Dear FEI Members:
FEI has been monitoring rapidly evolving health advice regarding the COVID-19 virus. As our primary concern is the health and safety of our members and the community, we are taking the following conservative approach:
Events: Our traditional event program is suspended until further notice. We will make refund or other suitable arrangements directly with those who have registered for our upcoming functions. Those who purchased tickets for Simon Sinek through FEI’s partnership with the Growth Faculty will also be contacted regarding postponement of that event.
Webinars: We are looking at alternative programs to support your investment in your career. We are delighted that upcoming guest speaker Michael Blythe, Chief Economist of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, has agreed to deliver his address on “Making Sense of Today’s Economy” via webinar. We are intending to make this available to all members on a complimentary basis.
Mentoring: We expect that our Mentoring Programs will proceed as usual. However, we encourage Mentors and Mentees to arrange their sessions as they see fit. Our remote mentoring program (currently with participants in Tasmania and the US) has demonstrated that connecting through technology can be very effective.
Thank you for your understanding as we seek to prioritise collective wellbeing and support nationwide efforts to slow the spread of the virus and keep Australia on its feet. We are ready to provide any assistance possible and can be contacted on .
