We are delighted that Julieanne Alroe, the new CEO of Brisbane Airport, has agreed to address us. She will talk to us and answer questions about planning the future for Brisbane Airport over the next decade. The address will also touch on the role of the finance staff in contributing to these plans and on the financing of airports (and Brisbane in particular).
A brief bio of Julieanne is below.
Prior to the talk there will be an election of the Brisbane Chapter President, about which a separate email is being sent to members.

Brief biography of Julieanne Alroe
Julieanne was appointed to the position of CEO & Managing Director of Brisbane Airport Corporation in July 2009. Prior to this appointment, she developed extensive experience within the aviation industry after holding a number of roles at Sydney Airport Corporation. These roles included executive management positions in the commercial, operations, corporate affairs, and planning and infrastructure departments.
In addition to this role, Julieanne currently holds board positions with Australia TradeCoast and the International Grammar School in Sydney. Previous board appointments include the position of chairman of Airports Coordination Australia Ltd and Airports Council International Safety and Technical Standing Committee.
Julieanne has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.
