How to join our membership and mentoring program

Click here for details of an overview of our membership and mentoring program in 2012/13 (321 KB)

Our membership and mentoring program fee includes

  • Payment on behalf of one executive as a mentoree in the FEI mentoring program for one year.  In this program an experienced CFO from one organisation mentors an aspiring financial executive from another for a year.  FEI encourages the company’s CFO to become a mentor, although this is not mandatory.  Where two mentorees are from one company, an extra fee is charged.
  • Payment on behalf of five executives and the mentoree of their FEI membership fees (currently, an individual membership fee is $150 per annum plus GST).  Payments on behalf of additional members are charged at $100 per annum plus GST.
  • Attendance by mentors and mentorees without extra charge at specified events: the annual lunch to launch the mentoring program; mentor lunches; and mentoreeing functions.
  • Opportunities to sponsor FEI events each year and to suggest to FEI topics and speakers, who may be from the sponsoring company.
  • Publicity of the support on FEI website and on other FEI material as appropriate, and opportunities to display company brochures at FEI events.

Benefits for all members, whether or not they are involved in the mentoring program

  • Luncheon and other events - FEI conducts regular luncheon events, usually monthly, at an attractive cost.  We hold occasional other functions, including new members functions.  The events either have leading guest speakers or panel discussions on particular issues or topics.  They can be either over a two course meal (usually) or a sandwich lunch.  FEI is active in NSW, Victoria and Queensland.  Members receive notices by email of chapter events and may receive preferential pricing over non-members.
  • Networking - FEI's functions provide an opportunity to network with peers and associates and to hear about and discuss current issues and trends relevant to financial executives.
  • International conferences - If you visit the USA, please contact the Secretary as he can introduce you to the FEI in the USA and can arrange for you to be eligible to attend their events.  Although FEI is no longer a member of IAFEI (an international association of some of other financial executive bodies), we would expect our members would also be welcome to attend IAFEI conferences.

For more information contact: FEI's Secretary, Robin Cumming, at racumming@fei.org.au or 0418 294 958
